*** 1960s Roold. Built in Quimper, Brittany, and somewhat bizarrely sporting a kangaroo as its emblem, this is a nice French bike that I built up using mid-range French parts. The frame has been repainted at some point in the past . The rather plain lettering was applied by the previous owner who assures me that the Roold bikes he saw (he bought it secondhand from the workshop in Brittany) were just like that. Fortunately, there are so few of these bikes around that you'll probably never find anyone to contradict you! It's a lovely bike if not outstanding in any way. Just a good touring machine for a bit of Gallic fun.£180. Bike now SOLD.
